Gwendolyn Denigris
Director

Hello! My name is Gwendolyn
Denigris, but most call me Gwen.
I am the Director here at Kidzee
Academy. I began my career at
Kidzee in September of 2021 as an
assistant teacher and worked my
way up to a Master Teacher in June 2023.

I have been working in childcare since I was 16 years old. My first
job was in Washington State, where I learned how much I loved
working with children of all ages.

I began my college coursework in Early Childhood Education
while still living in Washington and decided to continue my
journey after moving here to Oklahoma. I received my Director's
Credential in December of 2023 and am currently in the process
of obtaining my degree in Early Childhood Development. I have
over 600 hours of relevant training in this field and continue to take

the opportunity to learn something new each day. My goal as a Director
is to provide a safe environment for children to grow and have an
educational experience while still having fun!

Kidzee at Oak

Samantha Bannon
Director

Hello! My name is Samantha Bannon
and I am the Director here at Kidzee
at Oak. I started working at Kidzee
Academy and Early Learning Center in
December of 2021. My career at
Kidzee began as a substitute teacher
and I have quickly learned that I love
teaching all ages of kids. I have a BA
in Psychology, with a minor in Sociology, and I’m currently working towards my MS in Clinical Child/Adolescent Counseling. I have worked as the Director of Kidzee at Oak since April of 2023, and I’m very proud of how well the daycare is blossoming. Between college and work, I’ve accrued 340 hours of training in Early Childhood Education. My goal is to creat a safe and inviting environment for children to learn not only about history, math, or science, but also about themselves. I strive to help children find ways to communicate their needs and regulate their emotions. The girls I work with are a joy and they make my job amazing. My hobbies include spending time with my family and friends, as well as crocheting and playing music.
